I dived in Lanzarote in May 2007 during a visit to the Canary Islands. The archipelago is located over 100 km west of Western Sahara, on the northwestern African coast, although it belongs to Spain. The dive center was fully setup for most types of technical and rebreather diving. Our RIB left from Playa Blanca, which was a long trip by bus from my hotel. Underwater visibility was around 15 meters and water temperature was 20°C.
