I dived in Barbados in October 2005. I lived here in 1980 while working for Schlumberger and Mobil Oil, when I witnessed a devastating hurricane put large fishing boats over the streets of Bridgetown. I revisited friends in Barbados in 1986, and in 2005 I found this island country totally changed. Instructor and Managing Director Summer-Rain at DivePro Barbados was very friendly and enthusiastic as she has been scuba diving in the island since she was 8 years old. Visibility on all dives was 20 meters and water temperature was 29-30°C.
