Washington

Bright and energetic, Seattle is blessed with a naturally beautiful location, with snow-capped Olympic and Cascade Mountains looming in the background and 4,392-meter Mount Rainier towering over them all. In the Emerald City, one can find fine seafood at Pike Place Market and a nearly epidemic fascination with coffee everywhere. A two-hour drive south of Seattle yields up-close views of what remains of Mount St. Helens, now a National Volcanic Monument since its incredible eruption in 1980. Microsoft and Boeing are among the huge corporations that have their headquarters in the state.

In the background, Mt. Rainier, about 160 Km away
